Brook Cottage has been totally refurbished offering light and airy accomodation for 4 people. It is furnished to a very high standard and available for self-catering holiday rentals. The beamed kitchen/diner is fully equipped with all those "mod cons" to make your holiday just that little bit easier. A stable door from the kitchen leads out on to an enclosed patio garden, at the rear of the cottage, where the morning sun can be enjoyed. The easy level walk to the "front" with it's long beach, takes you along the town's babbling brook and through the lovely gardens of The Lawn. And there is, of course, a large selection of games, puzzles and books, as well as videos, to enjoy should there be an inclement day! |

| Parking... | |
| With regards to parking, only a few of the houses in the older section of
Dawlish have dedicated parking. Brook Street itself is one way and has double yellow lines (ie no
parking) as it is old and narrow. It is usually fine to stop and unload, but please pull right
over, so that other vehicles can still pass. Many of the nearby streets do not have restrictions and can be parked on, for example Barton Crescent, Barton Terrace, Regent Street. Should you prefer, you can buy a weekly ticket for Barton Hill car park from the Tourist office. This 'rover style' ticket will also allow you to park in the following car parks at no additional cost: > Dawlish Warren: all car parks, including the beach car parks > Shaldon: The Ness > Teignmouth: The Point, Eastcliff, Quay Road, Brunswick Street > Newton Abbot: Wolborough Street, Osborne Street, Newfoundland Way |
